Willie Arthur Venable,64, of Danville Virginia passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Trellis Hospice Home in Winston Salem, NC.
Born August 13, 1961, in Pittsylvania County, Virginia he was the son of the late Herbert Venable Sr and Frances Ann Davis Venable. He was married to Valerie Venable, who survives.
In addition to his wife, survivors include one daughter Christy Edwards Harper (Darrell); one son Demetric Venable; one sister Antoinette Venable; three brothers Herbert Venable Jr. (Carrie), Reginald Venable (Freda), Rayvon Venable (Tara); three grandchildren Kristen Harper Edwards, Kohlman Harper Edwards, Demya Venable; a host of other relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends and family at 221 Halifax Street, Danville, VA 24540 between the hours of 4-8 PM.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 01, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at Christ Temple Apostolic Church, 180 Kentuck Road Danville, VA 24540. Interment will follow in the Flora Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
