Willie Carolyn Harston, 82, of Danville Virginia passed away Monday July 15, 2024 at Sovah Health Danville.

Born March 20, 1942 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late John Harston and Elassie Womack Harston.

Survivors include two daughters Tramaine Hairston and Felicia Cordell (Derwin); four sons Kermit Harston, Allen Hairston (Jackie), Terrance Payne, and Kelly Hairston; three sisters Deborah Fite', Pansie Johnson, and Annette Witcher (Shawn); three brothers Herman Harston, Ervin Harston, and Jeffery Harston; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one daughter Donna Hairston; two sisters Faye Jones and Janifer Spinner (Earl); and one brother Lonnie Harston.

The family will receive visitors at 90 Grand Court, Blairs Virginia.

Services will be held on Saturday July 20, 2024, at 3 P.M. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024 from 1-3 P.M. at Wilson Funeral Services.
