William Morris Allen

William Morris Allen, 69, of 801 Glendale Ave. Danville, VA, passed away, Tuesday January 18, 2022 at Sovah Health Danville, Virginia.

Born March 2, 1952, in North Carolina, he was the son of the late Walter Allen and Elizabeth Lea Allen. He was married to the late Shirley Ann Allen.

Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Allen Chandler (Mark) and Rasheeda Allen; two sisters, Bettie Allen Hamlett and Helen Allen Dennis (Ronald); one brother, Ronnie Leon Allen; four grandchildren, Qudarius L. Barley, Montez L. Allen, Quentasia D. Allen, and Raeviona D. Stephens; one great-grandchild, Leven L. Allen; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by one son, John Harry Moore; three sisters, Colean Allen Blackwell, Shirley Allen Silver, and Lorretta Allen Johnson; four brothers, David Allen, Walter Allen Jr., Charlie James Allen, and George Thomas Allen.

The family will receive visitors at 276 O'Briant Ave. Danville, VA

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 1 PM at The Remnant Church of Power. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
