Wilford Buck Harris Jr.

Wilford Buck Harris Jr., 70, of Chatham Virginia passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born December 26, 1953, in Pittsylvania County, Virginia he was the son of the late Wilford Buck Harris Sr. and Henrietta Carter Harris.

Survivors include two daughters Lenora Harris and Arielle Harris; one son Wilford Buck Harris III (Stacey); two sisters Anna Hairston (Nathan) and Abigail Harris (Ghassan); three brothers Reed Harris (Olga), Roy Harris (Knyla), and James Harris (Julie); brother-in-law Charles Lee; six grandchildren LaKendric Mayo, JaQuinton Moore, LaKayla Moore, Damien Baker Jr, Caylen Mondowney, and Carter Mondowney; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by five sisters Elizabeth Lee, Joyce Terry, Gloria Taylor, Iris Davis, and Berline Nelson.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 1 PM at Higher Heights Ministry Center "The Center of Love". Family and friends will be received on Friday February 23, 2024, at the home of his sister Anna Frances Hairston, 236 Rison Street, Chatham, Virginia
