Walter Hargraves, 80, of Danville, Virginia passed away Friday January 9, 2026, at Sovah Health Danville.
Born April 12, 1945, in Danville Virginia he was the son of the late Walter Hargraves Sr. and Gaynelle Dodson Hargraves. He was married to the late Vivian Cathey Hargraves.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include two sons Ryan E. Hargraves (Jenny) and Corbin S. Hargraves; one sister Gay Beard (James); and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, He was predeceased by two sisters Jacqueline Leath and Delores Davis.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 17, 2026, at 1 P.M. at Calvary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 12 P.M. to 1 P.M.
