Vincent Lewis Davis Obituary

“Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we rejoice in the beautiful memories, lasting impact, and love that will forever remain in our lives. We thank each of you for your prayers, support, and expressions of kindness during this difficult time. May God continue to comfort and strengthen our family in the days ahead. ‘To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.’ — 2 Corinthians 5:8”

On Wednesday May 20, 2026, at Piney Forest Rehabilitation Center, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ called another one of His angels home, our beloved Father, Brother, Grandfather, Uncle, Cousin, and Friend, Vincent Lewis Davis.

Vicent was born on November 26, 1962, in Pittsylvania County to the late Harold E. and Lula Dean Davis. He was educated in the Danville Public School System. He enjoyed doing carpentry work and remodeling homes. Vincent accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior at a young age and he joined, became a member of the Kentuck Missionary Baptist Church. He served with the Men’s Ministry and as an usher on the Usher Board.

Vincent leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Shenea Jeffries, and one son, Deonte` Neal. Two grandchildren Dominick Neal-Hairston and Zerrod Washington, both of Danville, VA. One brother, Clinton Davis, Sr. (Katrina) of Suffolk, VA. One loving/special sister-in-law, Jennifer K. Walters Davis and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Ann Marie Davis Anderson and his brother, Billy Ray Davis, Sr.

In life we loved you, in death we still love and miss you!
