Tammy Sue Farthing, 57, of Keeling Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Duke University. She was born on August 20, 1968, to the late William Dudley Milam and Linda Bowman Saunders surviving.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a step daughter Jessica Farthing and a sister Dorothy Scearce.

In addition to her mother, she leaves to cherish her memory one daughter Sommer Shelton (Daniel); one step daughter Brittney Marlow; one son Skyler Farthing; two step sons Rudy Clay Farthing, III, Jonathan Fathing (Penny); two step sisters Misty Roberson, Jennell Bray (Donnie); one brother Ronald Saunders Jr. (Melanie); five grandchildren Avery Farthing, Kimber Shelton, Weston Shelton, Lainey Shelton, Myra Shelton; seven step grandchildren; one step great grandchild; step father Ronald Saunders; best friend Wanda Chattin; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Family will receive family and friends at 4316 Mount Tabor Rd. Keeling, VA 24566.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 2pm, at Church of the Second Coming 4172 Ringgold Church Rd, Ringgold, VA 24586 at 2PM with a visitation one hour prior from 1pm to 2pm.
