Sherry Lee (McCollum) Harden

Sherry Lee Harden, 68, of 865 Stokes Street, Danville, Virginia, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022 at her residence.

Born June 2, 1953 in Reidsville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Willie Earl McCollum and Frances Johnson McCollum Claiborne. She was married to Kevin Harden, who survives.

In addition to her husband, Kevin Harden of the residence, survivors include one daughter, Sandy Hood, of Danville, VA; four sisters, Shirley McCollum Hammond (Ledger) of Lumberton, NC, Frances McCollum Wood (Ernest), Evalene McCollum, and Brenda McCollum Thomas, all of Danville, VA; three brothers, Spencer McCollum of Lakeland, FL, Willie Lee McCollum, and Robert McCollum (Monica) both of Danville, VA; a loving dog Blackie Harden; and a host of grandchildren and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one daughter, Dianna Williams and one brother, Henry McCollum.

The family will receive visitors at the home of her sister Brenda Thomas at 119 Kings Court, Danville, Virginia

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 1PM at Wilson Funeral Services Chapel with Pastor Maurice Ferrell, Eulogist. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park. A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 5-7 PM at Wilson Funeral Services, mask are required.
