Obituary
Sharon Wilkerson Holland, 54, of Danville, VA went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 6, 2022. She passed away peacefully at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital after a long battle with cancer. She was born on November 22, 1967, to the late Wanda Wilkerson and the late Norman Wilkerson.
Sharon was a loving mother to her daughters, Heather and Amber Holland. She spent her life in Danville serving others through nursing. She will be greatly missed by her family and all of those that knew her well.
She is survived by her daughters, Amber and Heather Holland; her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jada, Olivia, and Abella; her brother, Frank J. Wilkerson and his fiance, Candace S. Powell. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Toby Holland.
A special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for the outstanding care and comfort that was provided to Sharon over the past two months.
A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. All prayers and condolences are greatly appreciated. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request memorial donations be made to Danville-Pittsylvania County Cancer Association, Inc., 223 Riverview Dr. Suite J, Danville, VA 24541.
