Sharon Teresa (Glass) Beard

Sharon Teresa Glass Beard, 63, of 907 Wyllie Avenue Danville, Virginia passed away Monday October 30, 2023, at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital, Lynchburg Virginia.

Born February 16, 1960, in Pittsylvania County, Virginia she was the daughter of the late Cooper Glass and Mary Hood Glass. She was married to Larry R. Beard, who survives.

In addition to her husband Larry Beard of the residence, she is survived by one daughter LaToya N. Beard; one son Corey L. Beard (Nikki); two sisters Margaret E. Bass (David) and Jacqueline Saunders; one brother Ronnie Glass (Penny); seven grandchildren Corey L. Beard Jr., Elektra L Beard, Cameron L. Beard, Christian L. Beard, Amari T. Beard, Skylar N. Beard, and Kobe Beard; two great-grandchildren Mehlani R. Beard and E'Mouri C. Beard. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three sisters Charlotte A. Beard, Carolyn J. Glass, and Darlene A. Fitzgerald.

The family will receive visitors at the residence. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 12 Noon at Wilson Funeral Services Chapel. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park. A visitation will be held on Friday November 3, 2023 from 5-7 PM at Wilson Funeral Services.
