Shantelle Cobbs Holmes, 29, of 231 Kings Court, Danville, VA, passed away, Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Sovah Health Danville, VA.

Born May 10, 1992 in Danville, VA, she was the daughter of Rufus Cobbs Jr. (Joyce) and Linda Farmer Glover (Antwan), who survives. She was married to Richard Holmes, who survives.

In addition to her parents Rufus Cobbs Jr. (Joyce) and Linda Farmer Glover (Antwan), her husband, Richard Holmes, survivors include two brothers, Shannon Cobbs (Kim), and Shawn Cobbs (Crystal); maternal grandmother, Ella Mae Farmer, paternal grandmother, Juanita Faye Council; and a host other relatives and friends. She was predeceased in death by her maternal grandfather Walter Farmer and paternal grandfather Rufus Ree Cobbs Sr.

The family will receive visitors at the residence of her father Rufus Cobbs (Joyce) at 11555 Mount Cross Rd Danville, VA.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday May 19, 2021 at 1 PM at Victory Christian Center with Pastor Kenny Jones, Eulogist. Interment will follow Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Tuesday May 18, 2021 from 6-8 PM at Wilson Funeral Services and Cremation, Inc.
