Samuel Eli Schoefield,67, of Danville Virginia passed away Sunday, May 3, 2026, at his home.


Born July 05, 1958, in Martinsville, Virginia he was the son of the late Edward Schoefield and Delmer Craighead Schoefield. He was married to Veronica Schoefield, who survives.


In addition to his wife, survivors include one daughter Christina Schoefield; two sons Jordan Wimbush and Drail Craig; two sisters Thelma Marsh (Ron) and Ada Mooreman; one brother Ike Schoefield; one goddaughter Remi Shantel Jones and her mother Breona Cooke; a host of other relatives and friends.


Family will receive friends and family at 204 Downey Lane, Danville, VA 24540 on Wednesday and Thursday between the hours of 4-7 PM Only.


Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 08, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at Bethal Way Church of Christ, 11560 Mt Cross Road Danville, VA 24540. Interment will follow in the Highland Burial Park. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
