Ruby Mae Dorsey, 62, of 164 Westmore Drive Danville, Virginia passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022, at her residence.

Born February 2, 1960, in Baltimore Maryland she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel Womack and Mary Catherine Patrick Womack. She was married to the late Reginald W. Dorsey Sr.

Survivors include one daughter Carla E. Jackson; one son Reginald W. Dorsey Jr.; two sisters Brenda Womack and Linda Booth; two brothers Nathaniel Womack Jr. and McKinnley Womack; five grandchildren Darius Bradley, Ry'aisha Perkins, Tyshaun Grant, Taliyah Grant, and Tyryn Grant-Dorsey; three great-grandchildren Ki'yell Bradley-Jones, Darius-Bradley-Jones, and Kinnedy Bradley-Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by one sister Barbara Ann Gamble and one brother Bobby Womack.

The family will receive visitors at the residence.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 14, 2023, at 11 AM at The Remnant Church of Power. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. A visitation will be held on Friday January 13, 2023, from 5-7 PM at Wilson Funeral Services. Mask are required.
