Roosevelt "Bell" Charles Glass

Roosevelt "Bell" Glass, 84, of 188 Sunset Drive, Danville, VA, passed away, Saturday October 23, 2021 at Sovah Health, Danville, VA.

Born February 19, 1937 in Pittsylvania County, VA, he was the son of the late Charles Glass and Janie Kirby Glass. He was married to Bessie Louise Glass, who survives.

In addition to his wife, survivors include one daughter Lou Ellen Lawson; two sons, Adrian Glass and Darryl Williams; one daughter in law, Norma Kaye Glass; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by one son, Cornelius Ray Glass; four sisters, Katherine Medley, Earlie Mae Woodson, Ada Lee Hutchings, and Betty Kirby; two brothers, Charlie Woodrow Glass and Sylvester Waddell Glass. 

The family will receive visitors at the residence.

Graveside Services will be conducted on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 2 PM from Kentuck Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dwight Bryant, Eulogist.  A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 6-8 PM at Wilson Funeral Services and Cremation, Inc.
