Roger Dale Doige, 71, of 108 Clark Street, Danville, Virginia, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022, at his residence.
Born August 5, 1951, he was the son of the late Franklin Russell Doige and Hazel Swaford Baggwell. He was married to Mary Doige who survives.
In addition to his wife of the residence, survivors include two daughters Tracy Ricketts and Teresa Doige; two sons Roger Doige Jr., and William Doige; two brothers Lonnie Doige and Charles Doige; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one daughter Lisa Anne Doige; three sisters Ann Dalton, Gayle Plott, and Louise Doige; and two brothers Russell Franklin Doige and Edward Doige.
The family will receive visitors at the residence.
Funeral services will be private.
