Richard Laverne Campbell

Richard Laverne Campbell, 68, of 225 Kings Court Danville, Virginia passed away Monday, March 4, 2024 at Sovah Health Danville.

Born January 19, 1956 in Elmira, New York he was the son of the late Lawrence Campbell and Aurella Cooke Campbell. He was married to Alice Campbell, who survives. 

In addition to his wife he is survived by four daughters Holly Chavis, Samantha Cates, Jennifer Copolla, and Megan Grey; two sons Richard Laverne Campbell II and Perry Campbell; sisters Grace Goodwin, Catherine Manoogian, Priscilla Powell, Lori Shuster Reed, and Laura Neal; brothers Lawrence Campbell, Chris Campbell, Donnie Campbell, Raymond Campbell, and David Campbell; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by one brother Mark Campbell.

A memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 1PM at The Fraternal Order of Eagles.
