Rayfield Motley

Rayfield Motley, 68, of 123 Kennon Drive, Danville, VA passed away, Friday, October 8, 2021 at Sovah Health, Danville, VA. 

Born November 14, 1952 in Pittsylvania County, VA, he was the son of the late Garfield Motley and Dorothy Motley Jones. He was married to the late Gertrude Davis Motley. 

Survivors include one daughter, Chandra Davis; three sons, Jermaine Motley, Pierre Davis, and Sean Goddard, Sr.; two sisters, Fannie White and Patsy Dillard; one brother, Thomas Motley; four grandchildren, Deziray Motley, Shontae Davis, Courtney Mills, and Shanise Jordan; and a host of great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by one sister, Katie Dixon; two brothers, Hughes Motley and Gene Motley; and one grandson, Sean Goddard, Jr.

Family will receive visitors and friends at the residence 123 Kennon Drive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, October 15, 2021 at the Remnant Church of Power at 12 noon. Burial will be private.
