Othella (Stamps) Robinson

Othella Stamps Robinson, 86, of 230 Prospect Street, Danville, VA departed this world for her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Duke University Hospital, Durham, NC.

Born July 9, 1935, in Ringgold, VA, she was the daughter of the late Lorenzo and Arabella Ferrell Stamps. She was married to the late Sherman Robinson Sr.

Survivors include two sons, Sherman Robinson Jr. (Delores) and Tony Robinson both of Danville, VA; three grandchildren, Tony Robinson, Quinn Robinson both of Danville, VA, and Jasmine Robinson of Roanoke, VA; three great grandchildren, Acoreyana Moore and Olivia Grace Robinson both of Danville, VA, and Tikoria Denise Williamson of Roanoke, VA; two sisters, Bobby Lou Oliver of Danville, VA and Shirley Richardson (Frank) of Alexandria, VA; one brother in law, Lloyd Law of Danville, VA; two sister in laws, Arcelia Royster of Baltimore, MD and Maxine Williams of Wilmington, DE; nieces, Myra, Natalie, Dreama, Melinda, Angela, Pam, Rita, Valerie, Camilla and Sherry; nephews, Michael, Gregory, Rodney, Willie James, Dennis, and Anthony; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by three brothers, Williard Stamps, Lawrence L. Stamps, and Raleigh W. Stamps; two sisters, Mattie Law and a baby sister; and one grandson, Corey Guy.

The family will receive immediate family only at the residence. Mask are required

A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 12 PM at Highland Burial Park with Rev. Maurice Ferrell, Eulogist. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, 3-4 PM for family and 4-5 PM for public viewing at Wilson Funeral Services and Cremation, Inc.  Mask are required.
