Nathaniel Kermit Tillman, 82, of 608 Edmonds Street, Danville, Virginia passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Stratford Rehabilitation Center.
Born May 29, 1941, he was the son of the late Julia Tillman. He was married to Ernestine Sydnor Tillman who survives.
In addition to his wife, survivors include two daughters Phyllis Garland and Diane Tillman; six grandchildren Danielle Tillman, Brian Tillman, Brenae Mason (Kevin), Keshia Brown, Shanice Byrd (Tony), and Vincent Brown (Jr); eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by one sister Patricia Hairston.
The family will receive visitors at 236 Hamlin Ave. Danville, Virginia
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 1 PM at First Baptist Missionary Church with Rev. Michael Nelson, eulogist. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 12PM- 1PM.
