Nathaniel Howerton

Nathaniel Howerton, 74, formerly of Washington D.C., passed away, Friday, December 17, 2021, at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center, Danville, Virginia.

Born August 18, 1947, in Danville, VA, he was the son of the late Charlie Organ Howerton and Elizabeth Blanch Mills Howerton. He was married to the late Von Howerton.

Survivors include sons and daughters; two sisters, Cecil Pinchback (John) and Clarice Broadnax; three brothers Charlie Howerton Jr. (Voryann), Michael Ray Howerton, and Michael Ragsdale; and a host of grandchildren and other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by one son, Samuel Howerton; two sisters, Angeline H. Goods and Cheyenne Smith; and one brother, Tony Howerton.

Family will receive visitors at 717 East Green Street Danville, Virginia.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 12 PM at Highland Burial Park with Rev. Jonathan King, Eulogist. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 4-6 PM at Wilson Funeral Services and Cremation, Inc.
