Melissa Faye Scott, 57, of Danville, Virginia passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at her residence.


Born February 16, 1968 in Danville, Virginia she was the daughter of the Nathaniel Wilson and Lennis Scott Wilson, who survives.


In addition to her mother survivors include two sisters Jackie Edwards (Daryl) and Cynthia Wilson; three brothers Tyrone Scott (Felecia), Reginald Wilson (Rose), and Barry Wilson (Retha); four nieces, Ebonee Edwards, Shannon Scott, Shantrice Scott, and LaDera Murphy; a special friend, Joyce Webb; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. In addition to her father she was predeceased by one brother Nathaniel Wilson Jr.


The family will receive visitors at residence 241 Belmeade Ct. Danville, Virginia.


Funeral Services will be held on Saturday August 16, 2025 at 1 P.M. at Vance Street Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. A Visitation will be held on Friday August 15, 2025 from 1-5 P.M, at Wilson Funeral Services.
