Markeem Juwan Lovelace, 25, of Danville, VA passed away Friday June 27, 2025, at Sovah Danville Health.
Born May 6, 2000, in Danville, VA he was the son of Michael Barksdale and Angela Lovelace.
In addition to his parents, survivors include one daughter Maheiyah; one God daughter Kenzlee Catrell; one sister Latoya Palmer (Nathalie Va); three brothers Michael Lovelace (Danville Va), Mikeenan Irving (Danville Va) and Michael Dennis (Richmond Va); a special nephew Dashawn; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Family will receive visitors at 2133 Robin Hood Drive.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday July 3, 2025, at 2 P.M. at East New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
