Marie (Foster) Young

Marie Young, 78, of 215 Thunderbird Circle, Danville, Virginia passed away Sunday August 6, 2023 at her residence.

Born March 31, 1945 in Newark, New Jersey she was the daughter of the late Bradford Foster and Lillie Dennis Foster. She was married to the late James Young Sr.

Survivors include one son James Young, Jr.; two sisters Lisa Blount and Tina Blount; two brothers Johnny Blount and Anthony Blount; six grandchildren Kareem Young, Rasheem Young, Tyrone Young, Jamel A. Young-Dublin, Stephanie Young, and Nathaniel Young; and a host of great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by two daughters Rochelle Young and Amina Young.

All services will be private.
