Lois Yvonne (Walden) Wilson

Lois Yvonne Walden Wilson, 74, of 110 Palm Street Danville, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at her residence.

Born June 4, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Walden, Sr. and Verbal Lena Ferrell Walden. She was married to the late David L. Wilson, Sr.

Survivors include three daughters, Vickie Lanier, Carol Townes, and Sharon Wilson; three sons David Wilson, Jr., Daniel Wilson, and Desmond Wilson; two sisters Julia Lea and Gracie Waddell; one brother William Walden, Sr.; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, and husband she was predeceased by one sister Lena Walden, and one brother Charlie Walden, Jr.

The family will receive visitors at the residence from 12pm-7pm.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 11 AM at Truth and Worship Outreach Ministries with Pastor Sylvester Townes, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
