Lloyd ''Joey'' Jorie Jeffries

Lloyd Jorie Jeffries, 61, of Danville, Virginia passed away Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Duke University Hospital Durham, NC.

Born June 1, 1963, in New York, he was the son of Eli Jeffries and the late Loretta Jackson Jeffries.

In addition to his father Eli Jeffries and stepmother Ianta Jeffries, he is survived by two daughters Tierrah Richardson and Loretta Jeffries; one son Joshua Totten Sr; one sister Marcia Curtis (Allen); three stepsons Craig Johnson, Kirky Johnson, and Lewis Johnson; eight grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by one sister Shandel Miller.

The family will receive visitors at 240 Oakwood Circle, Danville, Virginia

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at Union Street Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
