Lewis George Williamson, 73, of 36 Oak Ridge Avenue, Danville, Virginia passed away Saturday December 16, 2023, at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation.

Born November 19, 1950, in Providence, North Carolina he was the son of the late Dorsey Williamson Sr. and Mary Emma Henderson Williamson.

Survivors include three daughters Covartous Knox, Tonya Williamson, and Joni Williamson; three sons Alexander Knox, Jerry Williamson (Kimberly Chaney Williamson), and Phillip Williamson; one sister Ruby Ann Williamson; one brother Fletcher Williamson; fifteen grandchildren Julian Knox, Jessica Knox, Jordan Knox, Tyler McDuffie, Treasure Williamson, Shakee' Williamson, Shateka Thomas, Jaquan Jones, Antoria Price, Phillip Miles, Antasia Miles, Kassidy Williamson, Mahkel Smith, Shaquan Williamson, and Deziah Williamson; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one sister Mary Elizabeth Williamson Dodd; and three brothers Dorsey Williamson Jr, David Williamson, and Frank Williamson.

The Family will receive visitors at the residence.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday December 21, 2023, at 1 PM at Wilson Funeral Services Chapel.
