Larry Donell Kernodle

Larry Donell Kernodle, 57, of 129 Wood Avenue Danville, Virginia passed away Tuesday October 24, 2023, at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center, Richmond Virginia.

Born October 27, 1965, he was the son of Wesley Bowman and the late Annie Mae Kernodle. He was married to Stacey Adams Kernodle, who survives.

In addition to his father and wife, he is survived by three sons Larry Kernodle (Sheronda Kernodle), Apollo Adams, Rashaad Motley; three daughters LaMonica Kernodle, Aquina Adams, Antonia Adams; two sisters Cynthia Gunn and Kimberly Pettiford; four brothers Rayn Osborne, Lewis Nash, Jimmy Bowman, and Wesley Bowman Jr., eleven grandchildren; special friend Charice McLaughlin and her children Tahkeem, Tyreese, and Taiwann; special niece and nephews Latrice Garland-Stamps, Ulrick Garland, and Minister Patrick Garland Jr.; best friend Joel Florence, special cousin Kenny McClary; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his mother he was predeceased by one sister Candice Bowman.

The family will receive visitors at the residence from 2pm-8pm daily.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at 1 PM at Thee Apostolic Remnant Church with Overseer Pierre Jones, Presiding and Apostle Joseph Wooden, Eulogist. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at 12 PM.
