LaShonna Shontie Ferguson

LaShonna Shontie Ferguson, 48, of Danville Virginia passed away Saturday February 28, 2026, at Sovah Health Danville.

Born November 30, 1977, in Lynchburg Virginia she was the daughter Roger Jones and Lydia Ferguson Jones. She was married to Aron Waddell.

In addition to her parents and husband she is survived by four daughters JaMonica Ferguson, Ashonti Waddell, Arionna Waddell, and Avonye Waddell; one son Saheem Waddell; one sister Santia Ferguson; four grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive visitors at 170 Nelson Ave. Danville Virginia

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday March 12, 2026, at 1 P.M. at Truth and Worship Outreach Ministries. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park.
