Joyce Ann Hardy Byrd, 63, of 2145 Robin Hood Ct. Danville, VA, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at her residence.

Born May 15, 1958, in Milton NC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph McCain and Rohelia Swann McCain, who survives. She was married to William W. Byrd, who survives.

In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by one daughter Regina Davis; one son Terrance Hardy; two sisters Liz Scott and Sheila McCain; one brother Ronnie McCain; two grandsons Chance Clemons and Chauncey Clemons; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by one son Ricardo Byrd; one sister Hazel Blackwell; and one brother Bernard McCain.

The family will receive visitors at the residence.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at 1:00 PM at River Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Alvis Alston, Eulogist. Interment will follow in River Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Saturday March 26, 2022, from 4-6 PM at Wilson Funeral Services, mask are required.
