Joseph Edward Price Jr., 82, of 110 Winslow Street, Danville, VA, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Duke Regional Hospital, Durham, NC.

Born July 19, 1939 in Danville, VA, he was the son of the late Joseph Edward Price and Rosa Hughes Price. He was married to the late Mamie Thompson Price.

Survivors include one daughter, Tammy J. Price; two grandchildren, Raphael L. Price and Alisa Sherell Dunn; three sisters, Josephine Rawles, Nellie Pitts, and Patricia Price; two brothers, LaPhonsor Price, and Orlando (Monica) Price; one brother- in-law Fletcher Walters; one uncle, Otis Hughes. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by one daughter, Lisa Marie Price; two sisters, Inez Freeman, and Clara Walters; one brother, Benjamin Price.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 1 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Cecil Bridgeforth, Sr., Eulogist.  A viewing will be held on Sunday, October 31, 2021 from 4-6 PM at Wilson Funeral Services and Cremation, Inc. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
