John Lewis Bigelow II, 81, of 110 Sedgefield Court Danville, Virginia passed away Saturday September 2, 2023 at his residence.

Born June 13, 1942, in Baltimore, Maryland he was the son of the late John Bigelow, Sr. and Edna Hodnett Bigelow.

Survivors include two daughters Melissa Bigelow and Samirah Clark; three sons Antwan Powell, John Bigelow, III, and Morris Moore; three sisters Bernice Bigelow, Maxine Womack, and Eloise Jeffries; grandchildren Brittany Baker, Kimberly Hines, John Bigelow IV, Ernest Ransom, Jeffrey Bigelow, and Shalaby Crosby; great grandchildren Latoyah Bigelow and Saddiq Bigelow; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one daughter Vonda Garland; one son Maurice Bigelow; one sister Gladys Ballard; and one brother James Herbert Hodnett.
