John Anderson, Jr.

John Anderson Jr. 88, of 123 Winslow Street, Danville, VA, passed away, Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Piney Forest Health and Rehabilitation Center.
 
Born September 11,1935 in Danville, VA. He was the son of the late John Anderson and Emily Williams Anderson. He was married to the late Ruth Kernodle Anderson.
 
Survivors include one son Ronald Anderson (Ramona) two daughters, Denise and Nekita; two sisters, Mary Waddell of Greensboro, NC and Mamie Nelson of Danville, VA; one brother, Charlie Anderson (Betty) of Greensboro, NC and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by six siblings, Louise Fuller, Gladys Anderson, Dennis Anderson, Melvin Anderson, Henry Anderson and Jim Anderson.
 
A Graveside Service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Floral Hills Memory Garden. The family would like to encourage you to leave your memories and condolences online.
