Jerry Wayne Wilson, 66, of 146 Woodberry Drive Danville, Virginia passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Sovah Health Danville.

Born July 16, 1956 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia he was the son of the late Fern Wilson and Martha Gunter Wilson. He was married to Sandra Wilson who survives.

In addition to his wife of the residence, survivors include one son Bradner Wilson; six sisters Della Glass, Virginia Bennett, Frances Enoch, Margie Bowe, Audrey Tatum, and Sharon Wilson; three brothers Richard Wilson, William Wilson, and Charles Wilson; eight grandchildren Layla, Jayden, Chauncey, Myles, Ashley, Miya, Cayden, and Cayleb; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by one daughter Ashley Wilson; one sister Mary Ferguson; and two brothers Melvin Wilson and George Wilson.

The family will receive visitors at the residence.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday June 10, 2023, at 1PM at Bethel Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 12PM.
