Jaylan Kevon Fitzgerald, 21, of 251 Bethel Ct., Danville, VA, passed away, Wednesday February 03, 2021 in Danville, VA.


Born January 17, 2000 in Danville, VA, he was the son of Jeremy D. Fitzgerald and Toni D. Reese.


In addition to his parents, survivors include one son, Legend Cartier Fitzgerald; two brothers, Demetrius Thomas Jr. and Ja'Zyon Fitzgerald; two sisters, Jamesha Childress and Ja'Zyah Fitzgerald; Paternal grandparents Larry and Barbara Witcher; Maternal grandparents Jacqueline Edwards and Tony Reese; a special friend Taniya Gibson; and host of other relatives and friends. 


The family will receive visitors at the residence.


Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 2PM at Bibleway Cathedral. Interment will follow in Greater Triumph Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 4pm-7pm at Wilson Funeral Services & Cremation, Inc. with a limit of 10 people at a time only, masks are required. Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic there will be limited seating at the funeral service.
