Jannie Pearl Fitzgerald, 80, of Danville, VA, gained her wings on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at her residence. 

Born July 19, 1943, in Danville, Virginia she was the daughter of the late Thomas Wise and Willie Mae Walker Wise. She was married to the late Curtis Fitzgerald.

Survivors include four sons Marvin Fitzgerald, Gary Fitzgerald, Keith Fitzgerald all of Danville, Virginia, and Willie Berrette, of Long Island, New York; one sister Patsy Gunter of Danville, Virginia; twelve grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by three sisters Catherine Morrison, Betty Ann Wise, and Theodora Wise; and four brothers Algee Dee Wise, Thomas June Wise, Nelis Wise, and Jessie L. Wise.

Family will receive visitors at the residence.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 1 PM at Bible Way Cathedral with Dr. Philip Campbell, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. A visitation will be held on Thursday June 13, 2024 from 5-7 PM at Wilson Funeral Services.
