Jamie Springer Barksdale, 60, of Danville, Virginia passed away Friday January 26, 2024, at her residence.

Born November 29, 1963, in Belleville, Illinois she was the daughter of the late James Springer and Sharon Everett Springer, who survives. She was married to Charles Barksdale, who survives.

In addition to her mother Sharon Lee Everett Springer and husband Charles Barksdale, survivors include four step-children Kathryne Barksdale Morales (Luis Morales), Christin Barksdale Pristas (Todd Pristas), Nick Barksdale (Christina Barksdale), and Chris Barksdale (Joey Barksdale); two sisters Julia Kayes (Leo Kayes) and Kara Wilson (Danny Wilson); Brother and sister -in-laws Harry Barksdale Jr (Elizabeth Barksdale), Donna Cooper (Gerald Cooper), Bill Barksdale (Paula Barksdale), and Cathy Alderson; eleven grandchildren; nieces Sabrina Henn and Destiny Zuniga; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Services will be private.
