Irama Rosann Bennett

Irama Rosann Bennett, 95, formally of Pittsylvania County Virginia passed away Tuesday February 10, 2026, in New York City.

Born December 5, 1930, in Pittsylvania County Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Mell Bennett and Odell Tunstall Bennett.

Survivors include one sister Queen Bennett; two nieces Diane C. Thompson and Mavis Bennett; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one sister Geneva Thompson.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday March 6, 2026, at 1 P.M. at White Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Tunstall Family Cemetery. A visitation will be held 12 P.M. to 1 P.M. one hour prior to service.
