Harvey Alexander Gunn, 77, of 1714 Halifax Road, Danville, Virginia passed away Friday February 17, 2023 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.
Born April 11, 1945, in Pittsylvania County Virginia he was the son of the late Lacy L. Gunn Sr. and Lettie Farmer Gunn. He was married to Eunice O. Gunn who survives.
In addition to his wife of the residence, survivors include one daughter Cynthia Gunn; one son Darrell Gunn (Nonie); two brothers Horace Gunn and Lacy Gunn Jr. (Terry); two grandsons Aaron A. Gunn and Quinton L. Gunn; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was a Veteran of The United States Navy.
The family will receive visitors at the residence. Mask are required.
Funeral services will be held on Friday February 24, 2023, at 12PM at Wilson Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow in the Gunn family cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday February 23, 2023, from 4-6 PM at Wilson Funeral Services. Mask are required for all services.
