Harvey Louis Bassett Jr, 66, of Danville, VA passed away Sunday November 09, 2025, at Sovah Health Danville.

Born December 16, 1958, in Danville, VA he was the son of the late Harvey L. Bassett Sr. and Martha Ingram Bassett who survives. He was married to the late Elaine Dixon Bassett.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter Latasha Bassett; one son Harvey Louis Bassett III; one sister Mary Bassett; one grandchild Ethan L. Bassett, and other relatives and friends. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by one sister Retcher Streater.

Family will have visitors at the residence of 6020 Kenridge Circle Danville Va. between the hours of 2PM - 6PM.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday November 14, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Wilson Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. A visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to service from 10:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
