Gladys Ola (Adams) Poole

Gladys Poole, 89, of Danville Virginia passed away Thursday January 30, 2025 at her residence.

Born October 23, 1935 in Pittsylvania County Virginia she was the daughter of the late Buster Adams and Mamie Grasty Adams. She was married to the late Billy Ray Poole.

Survivors include two daughters Patricia Harris and Tahirih Anderson Gigetts; four sons Dennis Adams (Cathy), Donald Ray Poole (Camilla), Michael Poole (Doris), and Christopher Poole ( Telisha); a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by one sister Shirley Adams, and three brother James Adams, Lance Adams, and Bobby Adams.

The family will receive visitors at 119 Forestlawn Drive Danville Virginia.

Funeral Services will be held on on Wednesday February 5, 2025 at 1 P.M. at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Poole Family cemetery. A visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service.
