Geraldine (Glass) Williams

Geraldine Glass Williams, 85, of Blairs, Virginia passed away, Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Sovah Health Danville, Virginia.

Born April 4, 1938, in Pittsylvania County, Virginia she was the daughter of the late Hedley Glass and Virginia Davis Glass. She was married to the late Roy Lee Williams.

Survivors include one daughter Dana Garland (son-in-law Jason Garland); one granddaughter Diana Garland; four sisters Clara Richardson (Jimmie), Ola Gunn (Dewey), Elayne Glass, and Linda Price (Daniel); one brother Woodrow Glass (Marilyn); one brother-in-law Charlie Griffin, Jr.; and a host of other nieces, nephews, and relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by one sister Reavel Griffin and one brother Michael Glass.

The family will receive visitors at the residence.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 11 AM at Laurel Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Percy L. Pass, Eulogist. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday January 12, 2024, from 5-7 PM at Wilson Funeral Services.
