Mrs. Frances Ann Brooks, 82, of Sutherlin Virginia passed away Friday November 15, 2024, at Woltz Hospice Home, Dobson NC.

Born October 15, 1942, in Pittsylvania County Virginia she was the daughter of the late Lawrence C. Williams and Dorothy Hood Williams. She was married to James Nathaniel Brooks, Sr., who survives.

In addition to her husband, survivors include, three sons James Nathaniel Brooks Jr. (Lillie), Anthony G. Brooks (Shecorie), and Eric J. Brooks (Jackie); two sisters Regina Clark and Elouise Parker; three brothers Leonard Williams (Virginia), Robert Gene Williams, and Edward Williams; fourteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers Ronnie Williams, Michael Williams, and Lawrence Gunn (Laura- who survives).

The Family will receive visitors at the residence of her son Mr. James N. Brooks Jr. (Lillie) at 161 Springlake Place Blairs Virginia

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday November 23, 2024, at 1 P.M. at White Stone Holiness Church. Interment will follow in the Brooks Family Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 12 P. M. - 1 P. M. at White Stone Holiness Church.
