Eugene Edward McLaughlin, 68, of 133 Beavers Mill Road Danville, Virginia passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Duke University Hospital.
Born November 15, 1955, in Danville, Virginia he was the son of the late Elmer McLaughlin and Clara Brown McLaughlin. He was married to the late JoAnne F. McNorton McLaughlin.
Survivors include two daughters Latoya McLaughlin and Tiffany McLaughlin; four sons Maurice McLaughlin, Tron McLaughlin, Franklin Fitzgerald (Kristan); and Henri Fitzgerald (Val); three sisters Thelma Myers (David), Shirley White (Andrew), and Patricia Reliford (Mark); two brothers Levi McLaughlin and Marvin McLaughlin; ten grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive visitors at the residence.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday September 20, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at North New Hope Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. A visitation will be thirty minutes prior to service.
