Dorothy Mae (Davis) Cabell

Dorothy Mae Cabell, 84, of 3372 Wyatt Farm Road, Axton Virginia passed away Sunday May 21, 2023, at her residence.

Born October 26, 1938 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia she was the daughter of the late James Davis and Beatrice Harris Davis. She was married to the late Paul Cabell.

Survivors include one daughter Felicia Thomas (Donald); one son Maurice Myers (Jada); two sisters Geraldine Poole and Janie Taylor; grandchildren include Donald Thomas, Shoen Thomas, Kevin Adkins, Aelicia Thomas, Lashona Myers, Jasmine Wooding, Tanisha Wooding, Martika Wooding, Michael Mcfall, and Priyanka Fitzgerald; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; one great great- grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by one daughter Jacqueline Wooding; one son Kevin Myers; one grandchild Demetrius Thomas; and seventeen siblings.

The family will receive visitors at the residence.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday May 25, 2023, at 12 PM at Bethel Way of the Cross Church with Bishop John Campbell, Eulogist. Interment will follow in New Design Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service at 11 AM at the church.
