Delaine Abdul Najee-Akram, 66, of Danville, Virginia passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Piney Forest Health and Rehabilitation, Danville, VA.
Born October 16, 1955 in Roanoke, Virginia, he was the son of the late Norman Mason and Doris Robinson Vance. He was married to Stephanie Najee-Akram who survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Corey Robinson, LeMarcus Najee-Akram, and LaVonte Najee-Akram; five sisters, Elaine Smith of Eden, NC, Billie Ferguson, Joanne Price, Debra Smith, and Betty Basham all of Roanoke, VA; three brothers, Edmond Robinson, Duane Smith both of Roanoke, VA and Richard Hunt (Andrea) of Turnersville, NJ; one adopted daughter, Alisha Lipscomb; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by seven brothers and five sisters.
Family will receive visitors at the residence, 333 Audubon Drive Apt 21A Danville, VA
A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 2 PM at Wilson Funeral Services and Cremation, Inc.
