David Leon Wilson Jr, 56, of 148 Austin Circle, Danville Virginia, passed away Thursday December 14, 2023, at Duke University Medical Center.

Born December 12, 1967, in Danville, Virginia, he was the son of the late David L. Wilson, Sr. and Priscillia Waddell Epperson who survives. He was married to Crystal Ferrell Wilson, who survives.

In addition to his mother and wife survivors include two sons Demarcus Wilson (Crescent) and Damarius Wilson; three sisters Sharon Clark, Carole Townes (Sylvester) and Vickie Lanier (Allen); two brothers Desmond Wilson (Mona) and Daniel Wilson; four grandchildren Demarcus Wilson Jr, Dakota Wilson, Madison Elder, and Siah Daniels; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive visitors at the residence from 12PM- 7PM only.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday December 23, 2023, at 2 PM at Bibleway Cathedral with Rev. Percy Pass, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday December 22, 2023, from 5-7PM at Wilson Funeral Services.
