David Lee Pyles, 48, of 138 Gloucester Avenue, Danville, Virginia passed away Friday August 11, 2023 at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia.

Born May 16, 1975 in Chapel Hill, NC he was the son of late Thomas Ricky Hamlett and Barbara Ann Pyles, who survives. He was married to Angela Harris Pyles, who survives.

In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include two daughters Trinity Hope Pyles and Zoe Pritchett; two sons David Lee Pyles, Jr. and Davion Thomas Pyles; one sister Alexis Pyles; one brother Mark Hamlett; one granddaughter Lio Payne; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive visitors at the residence.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 3 PM- 5PM at Wilson Funeral Services and Cremation, Inc.
