David Lee Jones

David Lee Jones, 75, of Dry Fork VA passed away Wednesday November 26, 2025, at his residence.

Born December 6, 1949, in Pittsylvania County, VA he was the son of the late James Ellis Jones and Mary Taylor Jones. He was married to Carolyn Brooks Jones for forty-four years, who survives. 

In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons David Lee Smith (Sunny) and Brooks Ellis Jones; grandchildern Taylor, Heidi, Joshua (Lindsey), Brycen and Brady; great grandchild Amelia; two sisters Linda Frazier (Roy) and Brenda Arnn; Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and other relatives and friends.

He spent his entire life in Danville where he was a building contractor and developer. David also proudly served in the U.S. Army. He will be greatly missed by many friends and family.

All services will be private.
