Clarence Dudley Edmunds

Clarence Dudley Edmunds, 70, of 200 Mayo Street Danville, Virginia passed away Saturday November 11, 2023, at Duke University Hospital.

Born June 27, 1953, in Pittsylvania County, Virginia he was the son of the late Dudley Edmunds and Lillie Mae Pounds Lassiter. He was also the son of Thomas Lee Edmunds and Vernell Pounds Edmunds Diggs.

Survivors include three daughters Sharronda Edmunds, Euricka Mercer, and Tammy Allen; two sons Lamont Edmunds and Marcus Davis; three sisters Marilyn Edmunds, Lavida Lockett (Iziah) and Lisa Edmunds Fultz; two brothers McKinley Stover (Lydia) and Lawrence Edmunds; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; eight aunts; two uncles; and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one daughter Nekeva Edmunds; and one brother Arthur O'Bryant Edmunds.

The family will receive visitors at the residence of his daughter Sharronda Edmunds at 818 Corcoran Street Danville, VA.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 12 Noon at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be one hour prior to service at Graveside.
