Clara Jean Adkins, 81, of 239 Rocky Lane, Danville, Virginia, passed away Sunday August 6, 2023 at her residence.
Born May 5, 1942 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia she was the daughter of the late Acie Davis, Sr and Mary Taylor Davis. She was married to the late Leonard Adkins.
Survivors include two daughters Teresa Adkins and Latonya Adkins; three sons Leonardo Adkins (Susanne), Jerry Adkins (Chanell), and Hubert Adkins; three sisters Lillian Craft, Maria Harris, and Katie Leftwich (P.L. Leftwich); one brother Acie Davis, Jr (Mabel); and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by one son Charles Davis; and two sisters Delores Witcher and Shirley Davis.
The family will receive visitors at the home of her daughter Teresa Adkins, 187 Grove Park Circle Danville, Virginia
Funeral Services will be held on Monday August 14, 2023 at 1 PM at Truth and Worship Outreach Ministries. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 12 PM- 1 PM.
